The ProtoRPG engine aims to be "something between Ultima V and Ultima VI" and I think it's already well on its way there. In the demo game you can walk around the world, talk to different people and if you go downstairs you get to fight some rather big rats. Nice job, I hope some cool games come out of this endeavour.

The game relies heavily on the Prototype and Scriptaculous libraries (the reason for the name ProtoRPG, I presume).
